Troubleshooting
•
To preserve the operational life of your SD memory card, store it in
a dry place and
do not
touch the gold contacts on the memory
card.
•
This camera does NOT support hot swapping of the memory card, so
make sure to turn off the camera before removing the memory
card, failure to do so may result in loss of data or operational
problems.
Note:
When using a new card, the new card must be formatted in
FAT/FAT16 format before using.
Symptom

The camera is unable
to store pictures or
cannot display an
image.
1. Contacts on the SD
memory card are dirty.
Clean the contacts with a soft
cotton cloth, and plug the SD
card into the device again.
2. The SD Memory is
not formatted properly.
Try to format again in FAT file
format; this camera doesn’t
recognize other file formats.
3. SD Memory card
damaged.
Change to a new card, but
the new card must be
formatted FAT before using.
LED light will not go
out.
1. The camera is in
STANDBY mode
Reset the camera power.
2. The SD memory
card is full.
Delete some pictures for
more space.
LED light will not go
on.
1. SD Memory card
damage or SD Memory
card is not formatted.
Try formatting the card first
or change to a new card. The
new card has to be formatted
in FAT format.
2. No power
Check the power supply; use
a new one if faulty.
Camera can take
