Connect the magnetic parts again and adjust the camera position.
6.
Connect the camera to a suitable power supply with the included
adapter: insert one end into the USB connector

and insert the
other end into the power supply.
Note:
The magnetic parts in the bracket allow you to quickly detach
the camera without taking it off the bracket. To detach the camera
from the bracket, press the lever
[16]
and carefully slide the bracket
out of the shoe.
Inserting a microSD Card
Caution:
When you insert a new microSD card in the camera, the
camera erases the existing data on the card (except the data in the
EVENT, JPEG, and VIDEO folders). Create a back-up copy first.
Note:
it is recommended to use a formatted microSD card.
To install a microSD card, proceed as follows:
1.
Make sure that the camera is switched off.
2.
Insert a microSD card (not included) in the card slot
[11]
. Push it
in until it clicks into place.
3.
To remove the microSD card again, push it gently so that it pops
out.
Caution:
the card fits in only one way. Do not force. If you insert the
card in the wrong direction, you may damage the card and the
camera.
Switching On and Off
If the camera is connected to a power supply with the adapter, the
camera switches on automatically as soon as power is available on
the adapter. When you switch off the power supply, the camera
switches off too. Otherwise:
To switch on the camera, press and hold the power button
[10]
for 1 second. The red LED
[8]
lights up.
To switch off the camera, press and hold the power button
[10]
for 2 seconds.
Battery
If the camera is not connected to the power adapter, the internal
battery supplies power. The icons in the top right corner of the
screen indicate the battery status (
battery full;
battery half
full;
battery nearly empty). Charge the battery before it is
empty. When the battery is empty, the message "Out of Battery"
