MAINTENANCE OF ENGINE
5.1
Check-up of rotating parts
The control consist in periodic visual check of compressor wheel and turbine before flight.
You must check impellers blading. Following manually check or free rotor rotating.
5.2
State of fuel filter pollution
You must visual check state of fuel filter pollution before every flying day. Polluted fuel filter
must be clean or exchange.
Attention!
Fire hazard! Observe all applicable regulations for the transport and storage
of fuels (kerosene /jet fuel /etc.).
Don't use open fire when mixing fuels with oil or handling the fuels
(refuelling, draining, etc.).
Ensure that the fuel does not spill or leak into the soil.
After cleaning or replacing the fuel filter, it is necessary to deaerate the whole fuel path from
the tank to the engine. By using the 55:FUELPUMPING register prime the fuel feed to
remove air bubbles. Watch the fuel until it reaches the engine and turn off priming.
Do not
pump the fuel into the engine.
5.3
Stocking instructions
The kind of conservation, packing, transport and stocking of this engine is stated by
regulation of producer. Engine must be stock at dry rooms at original producer package.
Stocking conditions: temperature range +5 till +40 °C
maximum relative humidity 70 %
This engine mustn´t be stocked right on the floor, at esplanade and at places with higher
humidity.
