Instructions for touching-up paint
The procedure for repairing damaged paint is as follows:
1. Sanding the affected area
Remove the rust using sandpaper or a suitable scraper,
until the metal is shiny.
2. Applying primer
Spray the affected area with a coat of paint which is rich
in anti-corrosive pigments of aluminium-zinc or similar.
Ensure that this paint covers the whole area. Shake the
contain vigorously before applying the spray.
After applying the primer coat, let the area dry for
at least 15 minutes or for the time and conditions
recommended by the manufacturer of the spray paint
(whichever is greater).

3. Applying finish paint
Spray the dry primer with paint, using the same colour
as the paint finish, in order to cover the area. Remove
excess paint with a damp cloth.
