Application
Your sensor ships from VEGA with default factory settings. You should change
the application your sensor is set to measure with the following steps:
1.
Click the plus (+) symbol next to the
Setup
parameter menu to expand the
menu.
2.
From the
Type of medium
list, click
Liquids
.
3.
From the
Medium
list, click
Solvents/Liquified gases/Oils DK < 3
.
4.
From the
Application
list, click
Storage tank
.
5.
From the
Vessel top
list
, click
Flat
.
6.
From the
Vessel bottom
list, click
Flat
.
7.
In the
Vessel height/Measuring range
box, type the measurement point
on the radar to the bottom of the tank.
Note:
The
Distance B (mix. adjustment)
is the distance from
the radar sensor reference to the minimum adjustment or
0% fill point of the tank. The radar sensor reference is from
the top of the NPT threads or top of the flange to the bottom
of the tank or measurement range.
