Serious injury: This refers to loss
of sight, injury, burns (high-and
low-temperature), electric shock,
broken bones, injuries with residual
aftereffects from poisoning, etc., and
injuries requiring hospital admission
for treatment or long-term hospital
attendance as an outpatient.
