.
Use your vehicle’s radio controls to adjust volume, balance, etc., just as you would
any other radio station.

This will power off the FM transmitter and LCD backlight at the same
time.
FM Station Selection
The
VEC431
features 14 preset stations that can be reprogrammed as needed to
achieve the best reception (see “Specifications” for this unit’s operating range of
frequencies). The preset numbers and their corresponding FM stations are shown on
the backlit LCD display as follows:
Programming Stations
If you need to reprogram the preset stations, choose FM stations on your vehicle
stereo that are free of strong outside audio signals.
With the unit turned ON, press and hold the center button for 2 seconds to enter
Program Mode.
Press the left or right arrow buttons until the preset number you want to change is
displayed (the currently stored FM station will be listed on the right side of the LCD
display).
Press and hold the center button for 1 second.
Press the left or right arrow buttons to set the desired FM station.
Press and hold the center button again for 1 second to store.
The unit will automatically exit Program Mode when you are through.
Note: The same factors that influence vehicle radio reception in general will naturally
affect signal strength of the VEC431. For example, there are cases in dense
metropolitan areas where a local station’s audio signal may “bleed” over to
adjacent frequencies. Reception may vary depending upon location as you
travel.
Experiment when programming your preset stations to find the clearest sound
with the least interference.
An External Antenna is supplied to supplement your vehicle antenna.
