Select “Clock/ date” in the setup menu.

The “CLOCK/ DATE” setup menu appears.

The following functions are available:

Time zone

Setting the time difference between local time and UTC (UTC is equivalent to Green-
wich Mean Time, London).
Settings:

-12.0 ... +12.0

: Setting the time difference between your location and GMT in steps

of 0.5 hours.

For example during summer time set +2.0 for Paris/ Berlin to obtain the correct local
time.

Date format

Setting the display format for the date.
Settings:

Day.Month

: Displaying the date with “DD.MM.YYYY”.

Month/ Day

: Displaying the date with “MM/DD/YYYY”.

Time format

Setting the display format for the time (12/ 24 hours).
Settings:

12h

: Displaying the time in 12 hour format.

24h

: Displaying the time in 24 hour format.

Telephone settings

Select “Telephone” in the setup menu.

The “TELEPHONE” setup menu appears.

The following functions are available:

Input

Setting the telephone input.
Settings:

Input

: Telephone calls are transmitted via the vehicle loudspeakers.

Mute

: This mutes the unit when you are talking on the telephone.

None

: No telephone is connected to the unit.

Signal

Adapting the mute input (tel. mute) to the mobile telephone/ hands-free unit in-
stalled.
Settings:

High

: “Active high” muting signal. Unit switches to mute at 12 V.

Low

: “Active low” muting signal. Unit switches to mute at 0 V.

This setting is only available when either “Input” or “Mute” has been selected un-
der “Telephone –> Input”.
