SETUP menu
In the setup menu you have the opportunity to configure the navigation radio to suit
your personal needs.

Press the
SET-UP
button to call up the setup menu.

Select one of the following submenus.
Audio settings

Select “Audio” in the setup menu.

The “AUDIO” setup menu appears.
The following functions are available:

Traffic info
Activating/ deactivating the traffic announcements and setting the volume for the an-
nouncements.
Settings:

5 ... 40
: Minimum volume for transmitting traffic announcements.
❑
OFF
: No traffic announcements.

News
Activating/ deactivating the news function and setting the volume for the news.
Settings:

5 ... 40
: Minimum volume for transmitting news.
❑
OFF
: No news.
■
CD text
Activating/ deactivating CD text display in the lower screen section.
Settings:

ON
: Displaying the CD text information for the audio CD inserted (if the CD supports
this function).
❑
OFF
: No CD text display.
■
MP3 text
Activating/ deactivating text display with MP3 playback. The text appears in the bot-
tom line of the screen.
Settings:

DIRECTORY - FILE
: Displaying directory and file names for the current MP3 file.
❑
ID3 TAGS
: Displaying the ID3 tag information for the current MP3 file.
❑
OFF
: No information on the current MP3 file is displayed.

ID3 tags
Selecting the information for displaying ID3 tags with MP3 playback.
The following information from the ID3 tag can be displayed: Song title, artist, album,
year, comment, album track, genre.

In order to be able to use the ID3 tag display the MP3 files may first have to be edi-
ted using a suitable ID3 tag editor (PC, Mac).
