In CD mode:

Press the
CD•C
button.
The following functions can also be selected from the CD menu:

Scan
Switching the scan function on / off.

Press the right rotary control in order to stop the scan function

With MP3 playback:
☞
Select “Disc” if you want to scan all the MP3 files on the current MP3 CD.
☞
Select “Directory” if you want to scan all the MP3 files on the current directory.

Playlist
Creating, editing, deleting, starting and stopping the playlist.
See “CD/ MP3 playback via the playlist”, page 23.

Tracks (audio CD only)
Displaying the tracks on the selected audio CD and selecting tracks.

Select the desired track from the list and confirm your selection.
■
Directories (MP3 CD only)
Displaying the directories on the current audio MP3 CD and selecting tracks.

Select the desired directory from the list and confirm your selection.
✔
A list of the MP3 files on the selected directory is displayed.
☞
Select the desired track from the list and confirm your selection.
✔
Playback is continued with the selected track.

Repeat
Switching the repeat function on/ off.
☞
Select the required mode for the repeat function (track/ disc/ directory*).
☞
Select “Off” to deactivate the repeat function.

Random
Switching the random playback function on/ off.
☞
Select the required mode for the random playback function (disc/ directory*).
☞
Select “Off” to deactivate the random playback function.
