The following options are available:
TMC events
☞
Select the kind of traffic obstruction to be taken into consideration for
guidance (i.e. stationary traffic, road closures, no parking possibilities, bad
visibility, etc.).
Dangerous event messages cannot be switched off.
Dynamic guidance On/Off
☞
Select whether you want the TMC information to be included in the
guidance or not.
If this function is switched off no traffic obstructions are shown or recognised
for guidance.

Language
☞
Select the “
Language
” option from the “
System settings
” menu.

You are prompted to insert the language CD.
☞
Insert a suitable VDO Dayton language CD in the navigation computer.
☞
Follow the instructions given by the system to load other languages.
■
Measuring units
☞
Select the “
Measuring units
” option from the “
System settings
” menu.
:
The cursor is placed on the measuring unit currently selected.
☞
Select between the following measuring units:
–
Metric: display in kilometres and metres;
–
Anglo: display in miles and yards;
–
American: display in miles, half and quarter miles and feet.

Date / Clock
☞
Select the “
Date/Clock
” option from the “
System settings
” menu.

The currently selected timezone (offset) and the date and time are shown.
You can set the format for time and date display as well as the timezone.
