User Preferences

Select “User Preferences”
You have the following options in the “User Preferences” menu:

Language
The “Languages” menu allows you to set the respective languages for the menus,
sound (audio) and sub-titles (when transmitted).

Select the required menu option using the

Select the required language using the

keys.

Press the
OK
button to confirm and save the settings.

The audio and sub-title settings can be set individually for each channel and may
therefore differ from these universal settings. See “Programme selection/ select
audio language and audio mode”, page 15.

Banner time-out
The “Banner time-out” menu allows you to change the time for which the info
window is displayed. The info window is displayed for this amount of time every time
the channel is altered.

Select the required display time from between 3 and 10 seconds using the

keys.

button to confirm and save the setting.

Select “Setup”
You have the following options in the “Setup” menu:

Channels installation
The “Channels installation” menu lets you search for new TV or radio channels either
automatically or manually. Newly detected channels are saved in the existing channel
lists (but not in existing favourites lists).
It is possible to conduct the following types of search:

Complete:
deletes all channels from the current channel list and favourites lists and
performs an automatic search of all receivable channels.
❑
Manual:
Conducts a search of a manually selected reception channel and adds any
channels detected to the current channel list.
❑
Update:
Conducts an automatic search of all reception channels and adds any
channels detected to the current channel list.

New programs
The “New programs” menu option allows you to check whether your local TV station
is transmitting additional DVB-T programs via the frequencies already occupied by
DVB-T channels.
