12.3.1.1 Changing the standard decalcifier canister (optional)
If the machine is equipped with an optional "Decalci-
fying system", the respective standard canister (3)
must be occasionally refilled with decalcifier or re-
placed with a full canister.
If automatic decalcification has been programmed,
the message "Warning decalcifier" appears on the
display, indicating that the level of decalcifier is low.
Procedure
1. Remove the lower machine casing (1) on the
right-hand side of the machine. Use an open-
end spanner (size 13) to loosen both bolts (2)
two turns.
2. Hold the lower edge of the casing panel (1) and
push it upwards while fully unscrewing the bolts
(2).
3. Allow the casing panel to slide down and then
pull it away from the machine housing.
4.
Remove the canister from the machine.

5. Loosen the cap (4) of the canister (3) and remove it together with the pipe.
6.
Refill decalcifier or replace the empty canister with a full one.
7. Screw the cap (4) with the pipe onto the canister.
8.
Push the canister as far as possible into the machine and re-attach the machine casing (1).
