General safety instructions
The upright vacuum cleaner is
intended for domestic use only.
It is not suitable for commercial
use.
• It is an appliance which is
powered by a rechargeable
battery. Its rechargeable battery
is charged outside of the
appliance.
• Keep fingers, hair and loose
clothing away from the
moving parts and openings
on the appliance when it is in
operation.
• These appliances can be used
by children of 8 years and
upwards and persons with
impaired physical, sensory or
mental abilities, or insufficient
experience or knowledge,
providing they are supervised
or have been instructed in the
proper use of the appliance and
understand the risks involved.
• Children must not perform
cleaning or user maintenance
tasks without supervision.
• Children must not play with the
appliance.
• Only use original Vax
accessories and spare parts
with this appliance.
• Only ever use the appliance
with good lighting.
• Keep the charger and
rechargeable batteries dry at all
times and do not use them in
a damp atmosphere or at high
temperatures.
• Never use a defective appliance
or charger. If the connection
cord of the charger is damaged,
it must be replaced by the
manufacturer, an authorised
service representative or a
similarly qualified person in
order to avoid danger.
