Using the hose and wash tool
CAUTION:
Test for colourfastness – Wet a white absorbent cloth with the solution. In a small hidden area of your carpet/
rugs/upholstery gently rub with the dampened cloth. Wait ten minutes and check for colour removal or bleed with a white
paper towel or cloth. If your carpet has more than one colour, check all colours.
IMPORTANT
: The carpet washer should be in the upright position when using the hose and tools; de-activating the
SpinScrub brushes and brushbar. Do not place the washer at top of stairs to avoid it falling down stairs. Place washer at
bottom of stairs and work up.
Pour VAX carpet cleaning
solution into the solution
side of the tank.
Slide the tool over the tab
at the end of the hose
until it clicks into place.
Line up the arrow on the
hose with the arrow on
the washer and push the
hose into position. Rotate
the hose clockwise to lock
into place.
Fill the clean water
tank with warm water
(max 40°C).
Plug into the mains and
press the on/off pedal to
switch on.
Pull to open the solution tube connector cover and push
the solution tube firmly onto the port.
Open the hose connector
cover.
Turn wash/rinse dial
to wash.
Attach the tool.
Use the carpet washer
or hose to pick up
spills before washing
and cleaning
the area.
