With the DAB (Digital Audio Broadcasting) radio you

can enjoy crystal clear sound as well as access to the

latest digitally broadcast announcements.

INFORMATION ON DAB:

• Stations are indicated by programme name instead

of broadcasting frequency.

• Several radio programmes (services) can be

broadcasted on a single frequency (ensemble).

• Transmits programme-associated data and a

multitude of other data services including travel

information.

• The receiver picks up signals from broadcasting

stations and, even if the signal is very weak, sound

reproduction is ensured.

• Interference caused by stations that are on nearby

frequencies does not occur with DAB. If the DAB signal

is too weak to be receiver, the system switches over to

the same programme on another DAB or FM station.

• When reception is enabled, the FM tuner of the

Infotainment system remains active and continually

searches for receivable FM stations.

DAB ANNOUNCEMENTS:

Besides music programmes, DAB stations also

broadcast announcements of various categories.
