IN CASE OF BREAKDOWN
DRIVER’S SEAT
Vehicle specifications are subject to change. When the engine is turned off, ensure that the starter switch is in position II when operating electrical items such
as door mirrors and windows, etc. This vehicle does not include any manufacturer handbooks or manuals.
No responsibility is accepted for inaccuracies or misunderstanding caused by the wording of this guide. If in any doubt ask a member of staff for assistance.
Use hazard lights. Attempt to park
in a safe position.
Use an emergency phone rather
than a mobile as emergency
services will then know the location
of the vehicle.
Never use a child seat in a front
passenger seat which is fitted with
an active airbag (SRS). Follow all
fitting instructions carefully.
Check seat positioning and security
before use.

TYRE HELPLINE
In the event of having a punctured tyre
please call the Europcar Tyre Helpline

NOTE: Vehicles are not usually supplied
with a tyre repair kit (for vehicles that use
this in lieu of a spare wheel).
> Key / remote control operated central deadlocking. Depress the central locking switches adjacent to the hazard warning
switch to lock/unlock all doors from the inside.
> Passive arming of electronic engine immobiliser after removal of the key from the starter switch. Visible VIN plate. Some
models are fitted with a remote control alarm system.
> Centrally locked. Use the key or remote control to unlock / open independently of doors. Press / pull the boot handle to
open. Some vehicles are fitted with a powered tailgate - controlled via foot gesture activation of sensors under rear bumper.
> Electric internal adjustment operated via a control pad on the driver’s door.
> Electric front and rear operated via control switches on the driver’s door.
> If fitted - electric tilt/slide glass panoramic sunroof, operated by roof mounted switchgear.
> Child proof locks are fitted to the rear doors. Press the central locking switch to lock all doors. Check from inside that the
doors are securely closed and locked.
> Ensure gear selector is in neutral (or N or P if automatic) and electronic parking brake - found adjacent to the gear
selector lever is on. Vehicle features keyless entry and start - just keep the key in your pocket or bag, depress the brake
and place gears in neutral before attempting to start the car. Press the engine start/stop switch to start or stop the
engine. Select desired gear. Release electronic parking brake and brake pedal and gently press the accelerator to move the
vehicle. Vehicles feature auto engine start / stop - engine auto shuts off when gears are in neutral, vehicle is motionless and
pedals are not depressed, depress the clutch or acclerator to instantly restart. The parking brake will normally auto-release.
> Centrally locked. Located under flap on rear offside. To open: briefly press the edge of the flap to release it, then lift the
edge of the flap to fully open it, twist off the cap anticlockwise. To close: press the flap closed.
> Electric motor powered by a liquid cooled 13.2 kW battery. Electric only range up to 25-35 miles (dependent on driving
style and regenerative braking). Regenerative braking can recharge battery up to 10%. Select Hybrid driving mode (the
default mode) to maximise range, Hybrid mode to auto select electric and petrol, and Sport mode for sportier responses.
Charging port located under a flap on the rear nearside, lightly press the edge to open and close. Charging times: 3.5 hours
using on-board 3.7kW charger; under 1.75 hours using a 7.4 kW AC wallbox; Mode 2 cable and a standard UK socket would
charge in under 8 hours.
> Pull bonnet release lever located to the lower right of the steering wheel in driver’s footwell. Unhook catch under
bonnet.
> The rear seat is divided into 60:40 sections which can be flat-folded separately. To release the seat press the seat

seat lock. Check it is locked before using the seat. Central armrest also features a pass-through load facility for narrow and
long loads.
> Vehicle does not normally carry a spare wheel or tyre repair kit. For any assistance in the event of having a punctured
tyre, or should the vehicle not be supplied with a spare wheel and tyre or a tyre repair kit, please call the Europcar
Tyre Helpline 0800 0280 999.
> To change gears press the button on the shift lever and move the lever forwards or backwards. Select N for neutral,
P when leaving the vehicle, R for reversing (the vehicle must be at a complete standstill before this gear can be selected).
For normal driving select D where the transmission will use all available forward gears automatically (a ‘kickdown ‘ facility is
provided when the accelerator is pressed all the way to the floor past the normal acceleration point forcing the transmission
to select a lower gear to obtain maximum acceleration. Release pressure on the accelerator to return to normal accelerator
use). A manual sequential gearbox is provided by moving the lever to the left of the normal D position and pushing the lever
forward (+) or backward (-) to change up or down. Whenever the vehicle is at a standstill apply the electronic parking brake.
> Use the rotary dial selector to choose between various driving modes optimised for various road conditions.

NOTE:
Usage of direction indicators
A short movement of the indicator stalk in an upwards
or downwards direction operates the indicator lights for
a brief time; a deeper movement of the stalk in either
direction will operate the indicator lights for a long
duration. You will not feel a “click” when the indicators
are engaged - but the dash mounted direction lights
will be operational. (The indicators are also fitted with a
self cancelling feature).
