IN CASE OF BREAKDOWN
DRIVER’S SEAT
Vehicle specifications are subject to change. When the engine is turned off, ensure that the starter switch is in position II when operating electrical items such
as door mirrors and windows, etc. This vehicle does not include any manufacturer handbooks or manuals.
No responsibility is accepted for inaccuracies or misunderstanding caused by the wording of this guide. If in any doubt ask a member of staff for assistance.
Use hazard lights. Attempt to park
in a safe position.
Use an emergency phone rather
than a mobile as emergency
services will then know the location
of the vehicle.
Never use a child seat in a front
passenger seat which is fitted with
an active airbag (SRS). Follow all
fitting instructions carefully.
Check seat positioning and security
before use.

Remote control operated central deadlocking and key operated locking, with automatic locking.
Passive arming of electronic engine immobiliser after removal of the key from the starter switch. Visible VIN plate. Models are
fitted with an alarm security system. Independent locking of the load are and cabin.
Centrally locked. The vehicle is fitted with double rear tailgate doors (or a top opening one), plus twin side-panel sliding
doors (one on each side). The floor is fitted with six fixed anchor points / lashing eyes for securing loads. The front
passenger seat can also fold-up to provide additional loadspace adjacent to the front passenger door, as well as providing
a load-through bulkhead for longer cargo. Some models may feature auto opening of the panel doors - controlled by foot
gesture activation of sensors below the side sills.
The multi-functional front passenger bench seat features a fold-down table to provide a useful mobile office work area. The
base of the outer front seat can also fold-up to provide additional cargo space. The bulkhead also features a load-through
facility to help accomodate longer loads.
Electrically adjusted by using a control pad on the driver’s door.
Electrically controlled by using control buttons on the drivers door.
Ensure gear selector is in neutral (or P or N if automatic) and handbrake is on. Keep the key in your pocket or bag, press the
engine start/stop to start or stop the engine. Vehicles feature auto start-stop technology, whereby engine automatically shuts
off when in neutral, pedals are not depressed and the vehicle is not moving. To re-start just depress the clutch (manual) or
brake (auto). Select desired gear. Release handbrake and brake pedal and gently press the accelerator to move the vehicle.
Located under a flap over rear nearside wheel. Centrally locked. To open: lightly press the flap to release it, this action

Europcar Tyre Helpline 0800 0280 999.
To change gears use the rotary gear shift selector and twist it to select desired gear. Select N for neutral, P when leaving the
vehicle, R for reversing (the vehicle must be at a complete standstill before this gear can be selected). For normal driving
select D where the transmission will use all available forward gears automatically (a ‘kickdown ‘ facility is provided when the
accelerator is pressed all the way to the floor past the normal acceleration point forcing the transmission to select a lower
gear to obtain maximum acceleration. Release pressure on the accelerator to return to normal accelerator use). Use the M
option to manually select consecutive gears by using the steering wheel mounted paddle shift levers (change up using the
righthand lever, change down using the lefthand lever). Whenever the vehicle is at a standstill apply the handbrake.
