Installa• on
without
fi re box:

Burner OF must be ins
talled in a fi xed and secure posi! on before it is put into use – see the
instruc! ons below. The base must be fl at and smooth, and made of a non-fl ammable material such as
stainless steel, minerite, bricks, cement or stone. The fi re source must be in a draught-free place with
no risk of curtains or loose objects coming within one metre of the source. The following minimum
safety distances apply for installa! on without a fi re box:
Behind:
min 90 mm between the unit and the back wall (of non-fl ammable material)
In front:
min 90 mm between the unit and the front edge
Sides:
min 450 mm free space from the unit’s edge, and no fl ammable material within 1
metre
Above:
min 1500 mm safety distance – do not place any object above the fi re source within
this distance. Non-fl ammable objects can be placed more than 1500 mm above the
base.
Base:
Of non-fl ammable material(s).
2 burners:
min 50 mm free space between the units’ edges. (Figure 9B)
