only identical replacement parts. This will ensure that sa-
fety is maintained.

ADDITIONAL SAFETY RULES

WARNING!

1. Keep all parts of your body away

from the cutting blade. Do not remove the cut

material or hold the material to be cut when the

blades are in motion. Make sure the switch is off when
removing the jammed material. Blades slip after power off.
A moment of distraction while operating the hedge trimmer
can result in serious personal injury.
2. Carry the hedge trimmer by the handle with the cutting
blade stopped. Proper handling of the hedge trimmer will
reduce the possibility of personal injury from the cutting
blades.
3. Hold the power tool only by the insulated gripping sur-
faces, as the cutter blade can contact hidden wires. Cutter
blades meeting a “live” wire can cause exposed metal
parts of the power tool to be “live” and can cause an elec-
tric shock to the operator.
4. DANGER: keep your hands away from the blade. Contact
with the blade will result in serious personal injury.
5. Do not use the hedge trimmer in the rain or in wet or very
humid conditions. The electric motor is not waterproof.
6. First-time users should have an experienced hedge trim-
mer user show how to use the trimmer.
7. The hedge trimmer must not be used by children or
young people under 18 years of age. Young people over 16
years of age can be exempted from this restriction if they
are receiving training under the supervision of an expert.
8. Use the hedge trimmer only if you are in good physical
condition. If you are tired, your attention will be reduced.
Take special care at the end of the workday. Perform all
work calmly and carefully. The user is responsible for all
damages to third parties.
9. Never use the trimmer when under the influence of alco-
hol, drugs, or medications.
10. Heavy leather work gloves are part of the basic equip-
ment of the hedge trimmer and should always be worn when
working with it. Also wear sturdy shoes with non-slip soles.
11. Before starting work, check that the mower is in good
condition and safe. Make sure the guards are positioned
correctly. The hedge trimmer should not be used unless
fully assembled.
12. Make sure you have a secure footing before starting
the operation.
13. Hold the tool firmly when using it.
14. Do not operate the tool without load unnecessarily.
15. Immediately stop the engine and remove the battery
packs if the mower meets a fence or other hard object.
Check the cutter for damage, and if damaged, repair im-
mediately.
16. Before checking cutter, repairing faults, or removing
material trapped in cutter, always turn cutter off and re-
move battery packs.
17. Turn off the trimmer and remove the battery packs be-
fore performing any maintenance work.

18. When moving the hedge trimmer to another location,
even during work, always remove the battery packs and
attach the blade cover to the cutter blades. Never transport
or transport the trimmer with the trimmer running. Never
hold the cutter with your hands.
19. Clean the hedge trimmer and especially the trimmer
after use and before storing it for long periods. Lightly etch
the cutter and attach the cap.
20. Store the hedge trimmer with the cover on in a dry
place. Keep out of children reach. Never store the trimmer
outdoors.

PROBLEM SOLUTION

1. I CANNOT FIT THE BATTERY INTO

THE BATTERY CHARGER. WHY?

The battery can be inserted into the charger only in one
direction. Turn the battery around until it can be inserted
into the slot.

2. REASONS FOR DIFFERENT BATTER PACK

WORKING TIMES.

Charging time issues, as above, and having not used a
battery pack for a porlonged time will reduce the wor-
king life of the battery pack. This can be corrected after
several charge and discharge operations by charging &
working with your drill. Heavy working conditions such as
large screws into than lighter working conditions. Do not
re-charge your battery pack below 0ºand above 50º as this
will affect performance.

3. HOT BATTERY PACK PROTECTION.

The normal charging temperature is between 0º and 50º.
When the battery pack is too hot, it automatically starts a
HOT battery pack delay, and suspends charging until it has
reached the correct temperature. The charging process will
then automatically begin.

4. BATTERY PACK OVERLOAD AND

LOW-VOLTAGE PROTECTION.

When max. allowable battery current is exceeded during
working, the overload protection is activated to protect
the battery against overheating. When the battery is under
normal voltage during working, the power tool will cease
to operate.
