cleaned in order to comply with hygiene regulations.

7  OPERATION

7.1

Preparation

Always unplug the machine from the mains before fitting a mixer bar.

Screw the adaptor (1) clockwise into the mixer (2).

Screw the mixer bar into the mixer spindle (3).

Always use a mixer bar that is suitable for the material to be mixed/stirred.
Using an unsuitable mixer bar can unnecessarily overload both the
machine and yourself.

To remove the mixer bar, unscrew it from the mixer spindle in an anticlockwise direction.
The mixer bar can become rather tight in the holder. In that case, use a spanner to keep
the holder from turning.

7.2

Switching on and off

Switching on: Press the safety catch (5) and hold. Now you may press the on-off switch
(4) to start the mixer.

Switching off:  Release the on-off switch (4). The safety catch (5) will switch off by itself.

7.3

Speed selection

Set the speed required for the mixture and material consistency on the variable speed switch
(8). Where necessary, observe the recommendations of the accessory manufacturers.

Setting the variable speed switch in position 1: minimum speed.

Setting the variable speed switch in position 6: maximum speed.

Press the safety switch (5) and ON/OFF switch (4) to set the speed infinitely variably.

8  CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Attention! Before performing any work on the equipment, pull the power
plug.

8.1

Cleaning

Keep the ventilation slots of the machine clean to prevent overheating of the engine.

Regularly clean the machine housing with a soft cloth, preferably after each use.

Keep the ventilation slots free from dust and dirt.

If the dirt does not come off use a soft cloth moistened with soapy water.

Never use solvents such as petrol, alcohol, ammonia water, etc. These
solvents may damage the plastic parts.
