8.2

Operating instructions :

8.2.1

Setting the torque :

Your cordless drill is fitted with a 20-level torque setting (3) with a slip coupling. This
enables you to select the perfect setting for the job in hand.

Start work with a low torque setting.

When you insert the first screw you will find out how much torque is required.

If the torque provided by the current setting is inadequate, set it to the next level.

If the screw can be inserted as intended down to the surface of the work piece, the
drill/screwdriver is set to the correct torque.

8.2.2

Keyless chuck :

To insert drill bits : set the drill to turn clockwise, insert the bit and hold the front ring on the
chuck. Start the drill at a slow speed.

To remove drill bits : set the drill to turn anti-clockwise and hold front ring on the chuck.
Start the drill at a low speed.

8.2.3

Variable speed

By pressing the ON/OFF switch (1) you can control the speed of the drill from 0 to
maximum speed.

8.2.4

Drilling

Set speed setting to  .

When drilling hard smooth surface, use a center punch to mark the desired hole location..
This will prevent the drill bit from slipping off center as you start drilling.

Hold the tool firmly and place the tip of the drill or bit into the work piece, apply enough
pressure to drill

Do not force or apply side pressure to elongate a hole.

8.2.5

Screwing :

Torque setting to 1-20.

Set the direction of rotating slider to clockwise.

For removing screws set it to anti-clockwise.

Use the appropriate flathead or crosshead bit.

9  CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

9.1

Cleaning

Keep the ventilation slots of the machine clean to prevent overheating of the engine.

Regularly clean the machine housing with a soft cloth, preferably after each use.

Keep the ventilation slots free from dust and dirt.

If the dirt does not come off use a soft cloth moistened with soapy water.

Never use solvents such as petrol, alcohol, ammonia water, etc. These
solvents may damage the plastic parts.
