PACKING LIST
1 - Problast 2
1 - Instructions
1 - DC Power Supply
1 - Additional Quick-Disconnect
INSTALLATION & OPERATION
1. Remove the unit and all packaging material from the box.
2. Plug the DC Power Supply into an electrical outlet, then into the right side of the light assembly.
3. Unscrew lid(s) on abrasive storage tank(s).
4. Fill abrasive storage tank(s) to fill line with the appropriate size media specified on tank label. Take
care not to allow media to enter the manifold tube inside the tank. DO NOT OVERFILL as clogging
may result.
5. Inspect lid for any cracks or areas that might create leaks. Wipe off or use compressed air to clean
abrasive from jar and lid mating surfaces. Check to make sure the o-ring is in place in the lid and
screw lid securely onto jar. Do not overtighten.
6. Attach your 1/4" ID (inside diameter) hose air supply line to the barbed fitting and secure with a
hose clamp. If you prefer, remove the fitting and replace the quick disconnect fitting supplied for
1/4" polyflow hoses. Secure hose with a small screw-type clamp. NEVER depressurize the system by
disconnecting the air supply line while under pressure; abrasive will be forced into the foot valve
and regulator, causing damage. Before disconnecting the air supply line, turn regulator down
(counterclockwise) until the pressure gauge reads zero.

7. Inside the unit is the selector knob for using the left or right hand piece. Select either one, making
sure this knob is dialed all the way to the left or right position. The center upright position will shut off
air pressure to both tanks. This “off” position should be used when filling the abrasive storage tanks.
8. Turn on the light by turning the knob on the right side of the abrasive unit.
9. Securely attach the AbrasiveVac or StoneVac dust collection system to the rear of the unit.
10. Regulate air pressure by turning the air regulator knob. Pull knob up to unlock before turning.
Pressure will indicate pressure reading. DO NOT adjust above 100 psi (7 BARS).
11. To begin blasting, use the foot pedal to start the flow of air and blasting media. Release the foot
pedal to stop the flow. Note: After releasing the foot pedal, air and abrasive will continue to flow for
a few seconds until the pressure in the tank has been depleted.
