TENT PITCHING INSTRUCTIONS – ODYSSEY 500SC (EN)
Flysheet First Pitching
1.
Assemble the poles and lay them parallel on the ground.
2.
Open out flysheet and position in required direction.
3.
Insert the poles through the pole sleeves on the outside of the flysheet, matching the colour of the middle pole section to the coloured tab at
the sleeve end.
4.
Locate one end of each pole on one side of flysheet into the Ring & Pin system at the base of the tent. Make sure poles locate into correct pin
system (all poles follow corresponding flysheet seams to pin system).
5.
Push poles into an arch from opposite ends and locate pole ends into corresponding metal pin.
6.
Start pegging out the main corners at the rear of the tent using the pin pegs provided.
7.
Pull the tent forward until taut and peg out the main corners at the front of the tent, again with the pin pegs.
8.
Ensure the tent is in a straight line.
9.
Secure the tent using the pin pegs through the Ring & Pin system.
10.
Peg out ALL guy lines, ensuring that they are in line with the pole or seam they are attached to.
Pre-Attached Sun Canopy
1.
Vango awnings are designed for use in lowland, sheltered campsites. Do not pitch in high winds or exposed campsites
2.
To erect the pre-attached canopy, insert the pole into the sleeve, connect to Ring and Pin system, tighten the tension straps and attach pole
clips to pole.
3.
Pull canopy away from tent until roof of canopy is taut
4.
Pull porch taut, away from main body of tent and peg down the corners of the porch through the shock-cord pegging points using pin-pegs
5.
To roll away the pre-attached canopy, roll it away along the top until the guy lines and webbing are rolled away neatly, flip the already rolled
section to the underside of the canopy and continue rolling
6.
Secure with the toggles provided
Inner Attachment
1.
Open out inner tent inside flysheet and position doorways to correspond with the living area
2.
Suspend the inner by attaching toggles of inner tent through rings on inside of flysheet
3.
The inner attachments are colour coded to match the clips on the roof of the flysheet
4.
Do the rear first and work forward
5.
It is advisable to remove the inner when taking down the tent when wet.
Tension Band System
1.
Remove Tension Band System from pockets and attach into the corresponding clips at the apex of the pole
2.
Adjust the straps until they are taut
3.
DO NOT OVERTENSION. Excess tension will alter the shape of the tent
4.
Tension bands are designed to stabilise the tunnel structure of the tent
5.
The bands are not required to be used in calm weather
Ring and Pin System
1.
Locate one end of pole onto the corresponding metal pin.
2.
Peg the corners of the tent through the metal rings using pin-pegs.
3.
Pegs should be positioned at a 45 degree angle to ensure maximum grip.

Mit Außenzeltaufbau Zuerst
1.
Stecken Sie die drei Stangen zusammen und legen Sie sie parallel zueinander auf den Boden.
2.
Außenzelt auslegen und korrekt ausrichten.
3.
Führen Sie die Stange durch die Stangenhüllen an der Außenseite des Überdachs ein.
4.
Fixieren Sie ein Ende jeder Stange an einer Seite des Überdachs mit dem Metallstift-System am Ende jeder Stangenhülle.
5.
Drücken Sie die Stangen gewölbeförmig von den gegenüberliegenden Enden aus hoch und fixieren Sie die Stangenenden mit den dazu
passenden Metallstiften.
6.
Beginnen Sie damit die Hauptecken an einem Ende des Zelts auszustecken, indem Sie das vorhandene Ring-und-Stift-System benutzen.
7.
Ziehen Sie das Zelt nach vorne, bis es gespannt ist und stecken Sie die Hauptecken am anderen Ende des Zelts wiederum mit den Arretierstiften
aus.
8.
Achten Sie darauf, dass sich das Zelt in einer geraden Linie ausgerichtet befindet.
9.
Sichern Sie das Zelt durch das Ring-und-Stift-System mit den Arretierstiften.
10.
Spannen Sie ALLE Spannschnüre um sicherzustellen, dass sie sich in einer Linie mit der Naht befinden, mit der sie befestigt sind. Die
Spannschnüre der Stangen sollten an einer Ecke der Vorder- und Rückseite des Zelts befestigt werden, um das Dach zu spannen.
Vorbefestigtes Sonnendach
1.
Vango Vorzelte werden konzipiert, um auf tiefliegenden, geschützten Campingplätzen verwendet zu werden. Stellen Sie sie nicht in starkem
Wind oder auf ungeschützten Campingplätzen auf.
2.
Um das vorbefestigte Vordach aufzustellen, setzen Sie die Stange in die Hülle ein, verbinden Sie sie mit dem Ring-und-Stift-System, straffen Sie
die Spannungsbänder und befestigen Sie die Stangenclips an der Stange.
3.
Ziehen Sie das Vordach vom Zelt weg bis das Dach des Vordachs gespannt ist
4.
Ziehen Sie den Vorbau straff und vom Hauptzelt weg und fixieren Sie die Ecken des Vorbaus durch die mit Gummizug ausgestatteten
Befestigungspunkte mit Stiftheringen.
5.
Um das vorbefestigte Vordach einzurollen, rollen Sie es entlang des Daches ein, bis die Spannschnüre und Verschlussbänder ordentlich eingerollt
sind, drehen Sie den schon eingerollten Teil auf die Unterseite des Vordachs und rollen Sie weiter ein

Mit den enthaltenen Schnüren befestigen
