When the brake is not engaged, you see the situation as in photo 8;
•
You can engage the brake by pushing the black brake handle forwards (photo 9 and 10);
•
To disengage the brake, pull the handle backwards.

The legrests
The legrests of the Excel G-Nexx are equipped with convenient adjustment options. The legrests can be adjusted
in angle and length. Additionally, the legrests swing away to the side and can even be removed fully. To swing away
and remove the legrests, follow the steps below;
•
On photo 11 you see the legrests of the Excel G-Nexx wheelchair;
•
By pulling the black lever up (photo 12), the legrest can be moved;
•
The legrest can now be swung to the side (photo 13);
•
When you want to fully remove the legrest, pull upwards, after swinging it to the side as far as possible;
•
To put the legrests back, follow the steps above in reverse order. A click will confirm if they are correctly back
in place.
