4. Carefully spread shale in the cavity of the ceramic
burner. You can also add some shale on the edge
outside of the burner plate cavity.
NOTE:
Ensure the area within the pilot shield is
clear of shale pieces.
Pebbles
Place the pebbles on the platform as shown below.

Ensure that the

area is clear

reglass particles as these could be
ingested by small children. Vacuum area after
installation.

IMPORTANT:
Use only the ceramic rocks approved
for use with your Valor
fi
replace. Use of other rocks
can damage your
fi
replace and void the warranty.
