Fuel Bed Base
Installed
Install 739RSK Ceramic Rocks
The use of the 739RSK Ceramic Rock set requires a
change from the factory-installed log support to the
rock support supplied with this kit. See section
Change
Fuel Bed Support
on page 23 for instructions on how to
change the fuel bed support before proceeding.
Unpack the ceramic rocks kit very carefully to avoid
damaging the fragile material. Install the components
as shown below. Please note that
the position of the
rocks and twigs (if used) is critical to ensure proper
performance of the appliance.
1. Install the Front Support
Platform in the
fi
rebox
carefully sliding it down
between the burner and
the front bottom edge for
the
fi
rebox while avoiding
scraping the side ceramic
panels.
2. Place the rock ceramic base
on the log support behind
the burner. The front bottom
of the base must rest against
the lip of the support.
3. Install the ceramic platform
in the
fi
rebox rotating down
to insert the front
fi
rst behind
the Front Support. Lay the
back of the ceramic platform
against the rear ceramic
panel again being careful
not to scrape the ceramic
panels.
Warning: This platform
is quite fragile. DO NOT
force it in place.
