Operating your fireplace
Preventing inadvertent ignition
You can use one of the following two methods
to ensure that your fi replace will not turn on
unexpectedly.
• Press the O button on the manual on/o ff switch on
the right hand side of the valve*, behind the trim.
• Alternately, remove all batteries from the battery
holder in the control area (see next page), and the
handset.
* To activate the fi replace again, press on I .
WARNING
Risk of severe burns! Surface of the
fi replace are very hot during operation!
Ensure fi replace has cooled o ff before
accessing control.
Automatic shut-o ff (in certain conditions)
Your fi replace’s remote control is equipped with an
automatic shut-o ff mechanism which is activated
in certain conditions. See Remote Control Operation
at Appendix A or valor fi replaces.com/remotes for a
description of this feature.
