30W LED Floodlight
with motion sensor
Do not use with dimmers.
In case of accidental breakage of the floodlight:
1) disconnect from the power supply (if secured to the light bulb socket)
2) wear protective gloves for removal operations
3) do not touch the electrical components

CONNECTING AND INSTALLING
-
Warning! Before any operation, disconnect from the power supply.
-
The electrical connection must be done by an electrician
.
- This floodlight is designed exclusively for stationary applications.
- To install, consult the instruction manual and follow the directions of fig. E.
WARNING! never install the floodlight with the sensor knobs exposed to rain (Fig. I).
Swivel joint: by rotating the joint, it is possible to adjust the position of the sensor to optimise the detection arc; once positioned, it is important to firmly fasten the
“handwheel”.
The motion sensor of the infrared light can be adjusted horizontally and vertically.
With the horizontal adjustment, the 120° motion sensor can be directed to the right or the left. With the vertical adjustment, the detection range can be reduced or increased in
order to exclude any incorrect readings caused by movements on nearby floors or roads.
OPERATION
The infrared sensor is equipped with 3 adjustment knobs (see figure F):
- Time adjustment:
TIME
it is possible to adjust the light’s illumination time after detecting movement. This period of time can be adjusted for up to 5 minutes. Rotate the
knob to increase/decrease the lighting time. Switching on is repeated until the device detects motion.
- Sensitivity adjustment:
SENS
Rotate to increase/decrease the detection range.
- Light adjustment:
LUX
it is possible to adjust the intervention of the photocell based on ambient light intensity. The sensor’s sensitivity can change based on temperature.
POSSIBLE DISADVANTAGES
The presence sensor may be activated by large animals, light reflections, heat sources, or movements of objects. Here is how you can prevent false alarms:
- do not aim the sensor towards objects that may move in the wind, such as branches or decorations.
- avoid aiming the sensor towards reflecting surfaces, glass doors, or pools.
Ventilators may accidentally switch the floodlight on.
If the floodlight does not work in a satisfactory manner, this may be due to its wrong position not allowing detection within the passage area.
OPERATING TEST
Once the device is installed, proceed as follows to test its operation:
- rotate
LUX
to the day position
- rotate
TIME
to minimum, the light bulb will switch on when you walk in the detection area.
- once the test is complete, reposition to to switch on only at night.
- reposition to the desired time.
DISPOSAL
In order to protect the environment, proceed according to the local laws in force. Contact the relevant authorities for more information.
When the product can no longer be used or repaired, take it with its packaging to a collection point for recycling. Take out the batteries (where fitted) and dispose of them separately.
Electric and electronic waste may contain potentially hazardous substances for the environment and human health. It should therefore not be disposed of with domestic
waste, but by means of differentiated collection at specific centres or returned to the vendor in the event of purchasing a new identical appliance. The illegal disposal of waste
will result in administrative sanctions.
