4 General description
The hatches can generally be opened at the front side, at the rear side
or completely. 4.1. Hatch with plastic cover - manually operated
See Fig. 2 and 3.
The manually operated hatch basiscally consists of the cover (1), the
frame with the integrated mechanism units (hidden), and an inner hatch
trim (2).
To operate the hatch in the plastic body front and rear recessed grips (3)
are embedded.
For the emergency operation, the cover has one handle on the top (4)
and one at the bottom (5) under a cover (6, shown in the image transpa-
rent).
NOTE: Optionally the hatches are available without emergency escape
function.
4.2. Hatch with plastic cover - electrically operated
See Figure 2 and 3.
The hatch basiscally consists of the cover (1), the frame with the integ-
rated electrically operated mechanism units (hidden), and an inner hatch
trim (2).
To operate the hatch, switches or a control panel is located within reach
of the driver (see operation of electric hatch).
For the emergency operation, the cover has one handle on the top (4)
and one at the bottom (5) under a cover (6, shown in the image transpa-
rent).
NOTE: Optionally the hatches are available without emergency escape
function.
