Water softener
• The water softener must be adjusted manually, using the water hardness indicator.
• The water softener removes minerals and salts from the water that would have a harmful
or undesirable effect on the operation of the appliance. The higher the mineral content of
your water, the harder it is.
• The softener should be adjusted according to the water hardness in your area. Your local
water authority can give you information on the hardness of the in your area.
Adjusting salt consumption
• This dishwasher can adjust the amount of salt used according to the hardness of the water.
This function allows you to optimise and adapt the level of salt consumption.
• Please follow the steps below to adjust the salt consumption:
1. Open the door and turn on the appliance.
2. Within 60 seconds of turning on the appliance, press and hold the "Fast" button for 5
seconds to enter the water softener setting mode.
3. Press the "Fast" button to select the correct setting for your local area. The settings
display order is as follows:
H1 -> H2 -> H3 -> H4 -> H5 -> H6;
4. Press the power button to exit the settings function.

Please refer to the chapter "Adding salt to the water
softener", if your dishwasher runs out of salt.

If your model does not have a Water Softener, you
can skip the Water Softener section.
• Water hardness varies depending on the region. If hard
water is used in the dishwasher, limescale will accumulate
on dishes and utensils. This appliance is equipped with
a special softener that uses a salt container specifically
designed to remove limescale and minerals from the water.
Preparing and loading tableware
• Consider buying utensils that are labelled "dishwasher safe".
• For fragile items, select a program with the lowest possible temperature.
• To avoid damage, do not remove glasses and cutlery from the dishwasher immediately
after the program has finished.
Dishwasher safe cutlery/dishes
Unsuitable:
- Cutlery with wooden, horn, porcelain or mother of pearl handles
- Plastic products that are not heat resistant
- Old cutlery with glued parts that do not tolerate high temperatures
- Glued tableware or cutlery
- Tin or copper tableware
- Crystal glasses
- Steel items prone to rust
- Wooden platters
- Items made from synthetic fibres
