Sending the Report
When you have built the report and made sure that the text in the
Code
field is OK, you can send the report by clicking the
SEND
button. The system adds the abbreviated header lines automatically in
the beginning of the report and sends it. If the
Minimize
after
send
option is selected from the
Settings
menu, the system automatically
minimizes the template window.
ASCII Log View
MIDAS IV stores METAR history files for a period of 30 days. After
that, they are automatically erased from the folder. The files are stored
on C:\MIDASIV\HISTORY\.
You can open the history files with the ASCII Log View application
as follows:
1.
Open the
MIDAS
IV
Tacmet
folder on the desktop.
2.
Double-click the
ASCII
Log
View
icon.
3.
To open the history files, select
Open
in the
File
menu, and
browse to C:\MIDASIV\HISTORY\. For the history file names,
refer to Table 29 on page 76.
