5.3 Disconnect the remote control

Call up the installer level menu.

want to disconnect.

The remote control's connection ID is
displayed.

The remote control is deleted.
5.4 Changing the batteries
If the batteries are flat, a battery symbol
appears in the display.
▶
Use AA batteries or rechargeable NiCd
or NiMH batteries.
▶
Remove the four screws from the rear
of the remote control.
▶
Remove the cover from the rear.
▶
Replace the batteries.
▶
When replacing the cover, ensure that
the seal is positioned correctly.
▶
Use the four screws to install the cover.
5.5 Risk of death caused by
unsuitable batteries
Danger!
Risk of death caused by un-
suitable batteries!
If batteries are replaced with the
wrong type of battery, there is a
risk of explosion.

Ensure that you use the cor-
rect battery type when repla-
cing batteries.
▶
Dispose of used batteries in
accordance with the instruc-
tions in this manual.
6 Faults
▶
Ensure that the clearance to the elec-
tric instantaneous water heater is not
too great; see technical data in the ap-
pendix.
▶
Ensure that the batteries are sufficiently
charged. If the battery symbol appears
in the display, replace the batteries im-
mediately.
7 Care
7.1 Caring for the product
▶
Clean the casing with a damp cloth and
a little solvent-free soap.
▶
Do not use sprays, scouring agents,
detergents, solvents or cleaning agents
that contain chlorine.
