6.4.1
Filling the heating side
• Loosen the cap on the factory-fitted automatic air
vent by one or two turns. Make sure that the opening
of the cap does not point towards the electronic com-
ponents.
• Fill the installation up to a system pressure of 2.3 to
2.5 bar. The current water pressure will be displayed if
the "
-
" button is pressed for approx. 3 seconds.
• Fill the system.
• Close the bleed nipple.
• Bleed the radiators.
• Read the pressure again on the pressure gauge. If the
installation pressure has fallen, the installation should
be filled up again and vented once again.
• Check all connections and the entire system for leaks.
You can use the
P0
test program to bleed the heating
circuit, the boiler and, if necessary, the cylinder.
• To do this, keep the "
+
" button pressed for approx.
5 seconds while switching on the mains.
• Select
P0
with the "
+
" or "
-
" buttons.
• Start the program with the "
i
" button.
• Step forward to the cylinder charging circuit by press-
ing again.
6.4.2 Filling
the
siphon
• Fill the siphon with water through the opening in the
flue gas collector.
d
Danger!
Risk of poisoning from leaking flue gas!
If the unit is operated with an empty conden-
sate siphon, there is a risk of poisoning from
the escaping flue gases. Be absolutely certain,
therefore, to fill the siphon before starting up.
6.5
Checking the gas setting
a
Caution!
Before starting up the boiler compare the de-
tails of the type of gas specified on the identifi-
cation plate with the type of gas supplied at
the installation site. This boiler is suitable for
Natural Gas ONLY.
The combustion of this boiler has been checked, adjust-
ed and preset at the factory for operation on the type
of gas defined on the identification plate. No measure-
ment of the combustion is necessary to set up the
boiler.
• Do not adjust the multifunctional automatic gas valve.
• Ensure
- that the boiler has been installed in accordance with
these instructions,
- the integrity of the flue system and the flue seals,
as described in the flue installation instructions en-
closed with this boiler, and as described below
- a visual check is carried out on the boiler combus-
tion circuit and the relevant seals,
- that any defects have been corrected at this stage.
Proceed to put the boiler into operation as follows:
• Start the boiler by activating the test program P.1. as
described in section 9.4.
• Check for tightness of the flue gas system as detailed
in 6.5.1.
• Check the gas inlet working pressure as detailed in
6.5.2.
• Check the maximum gas flow rate as detailed in 6.5.3.
• Please note that you must re-measure the gas flow
rate or the gas inlet working pressure, if changes were
required to correct any issues found.

6.5.1
Checking for tightness of the flue gas system
Caution!
a
Caution! Risk of malfunction!
The combustion air must be free of particles or
the burner can be contaminated with dirt.
Take particular care that no building dust, fi-
bres of insulating material or pollen is present.
• Check the integrity of the flues system according to
TB 008 (Edition 2) and TB 017.
• Check entire length of the air and flue gas system for
correct installation to ensure that
- there are no blockages,
- all joints are sound,
- the fall angle is correct
- it is adequately supported
all in accordance with the relevant flue installation in-
structions.
• Correct the defects.
