2.2 Intended
use
Valliant VER electrical room heaters are state-of-the-art
appliances which are designed in accordance with
approved safety regulations. Nevertheless, there is still a
risk of injury or death to the user or others, or of dam-
age to the unit and other property in the event of
improper use or use for which they are not intended.
This unit is not intended to be used by persons (includ-
ing children) with limited physical, sensory or mental
capabilities unless they are supervised by a person
responsible for their safety or if they are instructed
appropriately by such a person in the use of the unit.
Children must be supervised in order to ensure that they
do not play with the unit.
The units are intended to be used for warming and heat-
ing rooms used for short periods, such as bathrooms,
kitchens or hobby rooms. Any other use or extended use
is considered to be improper.
The use of the electrical room heater in vehicles is not
classed as intended use. Units that are not classed as
vehicles are those that are installed in a fixed and per-
manent location (known as "fixed installation").
Any other or additional use does not comply with the
intended use. The manufacturer or supplier is not liable
for any damage resulting from such use. The user alone
bears the risk.
