Checking the working depth
Always check the working depth in the field.

The actual working depth can only be checked in the field. It is therefore important to make the settings
in the field immediately prior to operation so that the working depth can be adjusted to the prevailing
conditions.
The working depth should be regularly checked during the day. An appropriate interval might be once an
hour. Also see the section on “Drilling depth and coulter pressure” in the Instructions for the Spirit 400C
and Spirit 600C.
