1.3 Other safety precautions
!
Prior to connecting the hydraulic hoses, be sure that the male couplings of the implement and
the femail couplings of the tractor are clear and free of dirt.
!
The implement and its tyres are dimensioned for a maximum travel speed of
40 km/h during transport on the road. Please refer to
”1.3.1 Drive carefully! Always be safety
conscious!” on page 8.
The hydraulic ram operating the transport wheels can be secured for transport on the road using
the yellow locking device. See “Figure 1.3”.

Prior to transport on public roads, remove dirt that may fall off from both the vehicle and the
implements.
!
The owner/driver has sole responsibility for observing local traffic regulations when driving
on a public road.
!
Always park the implement on a level and strong surface, and allow it to rest on the roller rings
and the supporting leg.
!
Never stay close a the pressure hose under pressure. Be sure to recover any spilt oil during
work on the hydraulic system.
!
If any work needs to be performed on the pre-implements, such as replacing tines, the imple-
ment should be secured by trestles or similar supports on firm ground.
!
Pay attention during assembly or disassembly of weights. Be sure to secure them properly us-
ing locking pins and the threaded rod. See ”
2.2.1 Fitting the weights (optional)” on page 16 .

parts. The warranty and any complaint commitments will become void if other than genuine
parts are used.
