Since there is better than 1/2 a page to fill up here, a note regarding the software releases and the intent of the
product lifecycle of the HD-USB camera is included.
The intent of releasing the HD-USB camera with full USB 2.0 implementation and waiting for Release 2.0 for full
H.264 implementation was to ensure that the H.264 streaming applications could all be adequately tested and
confirmed 100% operational.
The USB 2.0 implementation is in high demand and we are ready for Release 1.0 of the camera strictly for USB
2.0 soft client conferencing programs.
While there is some rudimentary Ethernet functionality in Release 1.0, it was included mainly as a means to
upgrade/update the software for future software releases and added functionality. In any case, it is recommended
that anyone using the Ethernet connectivity use the Static IP addressing for now.
