Run the start-up tests without the motor being connected to the process, if possible. If this
is not possible, secure the safety of each test prior to running it. Inform your co-workers of
the tests.
a)
Switch off the supply voltage and wait up until the drive has stopped as advised at Chapter
8.1, step 5.
b)
Connect the motor cable to the motor and to the motor cable terminals of the frequency
converter.
c)
See to that all Start/Stop switches are in Stop positions.
d)
Switch the mains ON
e)
Repeat test 8A or 8B

Connect the motor to the process (if the startup test was run without the motor being
connected)
a)
Before running the tests, make sure that this can be done safely.
b)
Inform your co-workers of the tests.
c)
Repeat test 8A or 8B.
