3.1
Appliance description
The appliance is for ventilating a cooking area and is typically built into the
wall unit. This particular model can be used in the extraction mode as well as
in the recirculation mode.
3.2
Extraction model
The integrated fan extracts cooking fumes and smells from above the cooking
surface. The metal grease filters clean the air, which is ducted outside.
When in use, ensure there is a sufficient supply of fresh air. Exhaust
air requires intake air.
The saturation indicator for the activated charcoal filter must be deac-
tivated.
3.3
Recirculation model
Using a LRC1 air recycling cassette
The appliance draws the odours from the cooking area through the grease fil-
ter, which retains the grease particles. The air is then blown via a pipeline
through the air recycling cassette. The latter has an activated charcoal filter
which removes odours from the air. The cleaned air is then blown aerodynam-
ically back into the room through the air outlet grille.
