Note on use

Do not use any electrical appliances
inside the refrigerator and/or freezer

compartment.

Strong alcohol should only be stored

tightly sealed and standing upright. Do
not store explosive materials or aerosols

in the appliance. Danger of explosion!

This appliance is free from CFCs and
FCs, and contains small quantities of the
environmentally friendly but flammable

refrigerant isobutane (R600a). When
handling the appliance, it is important to
ensure that the cold circuit is not
damaged. Leaking refrigerant can catch
fire. In the event of damage, avoid using
any type of open flame and sources of
ignition, as isobutane is flammable.
Thoroughly ventilate the room for a few
minutes. Switch off the appliance and
disconnect the electrical supply. Do not
switch on any sources of energy. Inform
Customer Services.

Caution: Risk of injury!

Be careful not to put fingers in the door
hinges, as there is a risk of injury if the
appliance door is moved. Particular care
should be taken when children are
around.

Before cleaning, disconnect the electrical
supply by pulling out the mains plug or

switching off the fuse. Never pull the
mains plug out of the mains socket by

the cable or with wet hands. Hold the
mains plug and pull it straight out of the

socket.

Prevent skin from coming into contact
with frozen food for extended periods.

Never consume frozen food or ice cubes

straight from the appliance, as this

creates a risk of burns.

Do not place beverage bottles/cans in
the freezer compartment. Containers with

highly carbonated beverages inside can

burst if they are frozen.

Do not overload the door trays or the
freezer/vegetable drawers.

Caution: Risk to life!

Packaging materials such as plastic film

and polystyrene can be dangerous for
children. Danger of suffocation! Keep
packaging material away from children.

Disconnect the appliance electricity
supply when performing maintenance;

this includes replacing lights (if the

operating instructions describe how to
remove them). To do this, remove the
screw fuses from the holders completely
and switch off the circuit breaker or
disconnect the mains plug.

How to avoid damaging the

appliance

Only use water or a mild alkaline solution
when cleaning the appliance.

Do not use pointed or sharp-edged
objects when removing layers of ice or
frozen-on food.

Do not use mechanical or chemical
means of accelerating defrosting.

Store oil and grease in closed upright
containers. They must not come into
contact with the plastic parts or the door
seal.
