Important Safety Instructions

This fi xture must be grounded and installed in accordance with local and
national electrical codes, by a person familiar with construction and operation of the
product and the hazards involved. Manufacturer assumes no responsibility for the
improper installation or application of this fi xture.

Fixture contains high intensity UV light for air treatment. Always wear eye
protection when servicing. Turn off unit / disconnect before servicing.
Caution

Read this entire document prior to installation.
•
Wear cut-resistance gloves and long sleeves when removing the fi xture from the carton and
handling during installation to avoid possible cuts and abrasions from raw edges.
•
Risk of burn. Disconnect power and allow fi xture to cool before changing lamp or handling
fi xture.
•
Notice: Green ground screw provided in proper location. Do not relocate.
•
Notice: Lamps contain mercury, dispose according to local, state and federal laws.

Do not use UV Angel Clean Air for other than its intended use.

The use of accessory equipment not specifi ed by UV Angel is not recommended and may
cause an unsafe condition.

This appliance contains a UV-C emitter.

Unintended use of the UV Angel Clean Air or damage to the housing may result in the escape
of dangerous UV-C radiation. UV-C radiation may, even in little doses, cause harm to the eyes
and skin.

If the UV Angel Clean Air is obviously damaged it must not be operated.

Means for disconnection must be incorporated in the fi xed wiring in accordance with the
wiring rules.

Read the maintenance instructions before opening the UV Angel Clean Air.

given supervision or instruction.

UV Angel Clean Air is considered to be suitable for use in countries having a tropical cli-
mate. It may also be used in other countries.

UV Angel Clean Air is to be supplied through a residual current device (RCD) having a rated
residual operating current not exceeding 30 mA when used in tropical climates.
