When at the Windows desktop, start
HyperTerminal. Look on the Start menu, All
Programs → Accessories → Communications
→ HyperTerminal.
If necessary, answer the question regarding
default telnet program.
If necessary, put in your local area code.
Accept the Phone and Modem Option presented,
or edit it as desired.
