C) Practice the safety requirements applicable to the machine and tools being used and the nature ol the work
performed.
D) Should be properly trained in the sale use ol the mounted point and the fitting ol them to the machine.
E) Protective safety glasses and hearing protectors shall be used. Other personal protective equipment such as
gloves, apron and helmet shall be used when necessary.
F) The machine should be disconnected from the air supply before serving or changing the mounted point. This will
prevent the tool from operating il the throttle is accidentally engaged
G) Remember that die grinder is still running on for a while even alter the throttle lever has been released. It is very
dangerous to touch the insert tools soon alter stopping operation. Do not lay down the tool until the tool
completely stops moving.
H) Never use the air hose for supporting, lifting or lowering the tool. Use a safety line or cable on the tool when
working in elevated area.
I ) Make sure that no bystanders are in the vicinity.
14. Where the working process in certain materials creates emission ol dust and !urnes, personnel shall be protected
with dust collectors and personal protective devices.
15. Check spindle speed frequently with a tachometer to make sure that actual free speed at 6 bar does not exceed
rated free speed marked on the tool.
Note:
The wheel must be dismounted before the grinder is checked.
16. li the tool is fixed to a balancer or a similar device, make sure that the fixation is secure.
17. When air supply is interrupted, return the throttle lever to the stop position.
18. The die grinders must not be used in explosive atmospheres.
19. The die grinders are not insulated against coming into contact with electric power.
20. Check that Uryu genuine collet chuck and chuck nut are used and are in goo"d condition, i.e. free from cracks and
burrs and are flat.
21. Ensure that the collet chuck and chuck nut are correctly mounted and tightened. Over-tightening can damage the
mounted wheel.
22. Make sure that service personnel is properly trained.
23. Always keep the tool in dry, clean place when not in use.
