RADIO RANGE:
POWER range:
• inside 100 m² apartments with perpendicular crossing
of main wall or ceiling
• 250m in open range
(Note: in both cases the range may be reduced by pre-
sence of metallic elements, crossing of walls or parti-
tions).
RADIO TRANSMISSION
The transmitter LED will light up only if radio
transmission was successful.
Adding an intermediate receiver makes it possible to
solve a problem of insufficient range.
Refer to the transmitter instruction booklet for more infor-
mation.
Standard installation, 250W 1A power: when the module is installed in sealed flush-mount boxes which do not let air circulate,
the maximum permitted power is 250W, 1A current.
Specific installation, 500W 2A power: in some specific cases, if flush-mount boxes are connected by corrugated pipes which
let air through to provide ventilation or in open-air installation, the maximum permitted power is 500W, 2A current.
Installing Cautions
The module must be installed only by qualified personnel and
into a place the end-user cannot access, according to the
installing national rules.
In order to follow the safety rules, the module must be connec-
ted to a power line that is upstream protected by a magneto-
thermic switch 10A C curve.
With the low voltage light bulbs do not mix the ferromagnetic, elec-
tronic and toroidal transformers.
Wiring
DO NOT INSTALL ON REMOTE CONTROLLED SOCKETS
Installation on remote controlled sockets is risky because end users
could connect any type of electrical load and damage the module as
a consequence.
The flush mount version of the module is not equipped with terminal blocks.
It comes with wires, in conformity with the local safety regulation. To connect
the module to the circuit, appropriate terminals should be used according to
the specific National Safety Rules.
CAUTION
Accessory FDVDT (Code 5454075) must be installed if the power line of
the module is shared with inductive loads
(e.g. window shutters or
ferromagnetic ballasts or ferromagnetic transformers). The accessory must
be connected as close as possible to the module in parallel between live and
neutral. The internal overvoltage protection of the module could be rapidly
damaged without this accessory. The flush-mounted version of the module
is provided with wires but without terminal board. In-line terminals or similar
connectors must be used to wire to the electrical network. The module must
be installed according to the rules in force in the country in which it is sold.
