1. SWITCHBOARD USAGE
CALL RECEIVED FROM A DOOR UNIT
Calls from door units will be sent to the respective switchboard in day mode. This will be
indicated by the special ring tone and icon (18) will blink. The door unit camera feed will
appear in the video area (6) and the caller’s indication will appear in the call data area
(3) or (22).
To answer the call using the 1039/41 handset:
1.
Pick up the handset
If a microphone headset it used:
1.
Press button (18)
To end the call:
1.
Hang up the handset 1039/41 or press the button (20)
To answer the call during another conversation:
If the operator is busy during another call, the call from the door unit will be displayed in
the free calling area (3) or (22). Proceed as follows:
1. Press the button corresponding to the source area of the new call (4) or (21). The
previous call will be ended by the switchboard.
2.
Press button (9) before answering to put the conversation in progress on hold.
To take back the call on hold, press the button (9) after having selected the corresponding calling
area (3) or (22).

Calls from users to the switchboard will be indicated by the specific ring tone and icon
(18) will blink. The call data area (3) or (22) will display information on the caller.
To answer the call using the 1039/41 handset:
