It is possible to check the current con
fi
guration of a parameter, or if a value is correct, for example the
stored telephone number, by digiting the respective parameter followed by the button
instead of button
. This check function is not available for access password (parameter 660).
Warning
: if the telephone number associated to the call diversion function is the only programmed number,
i.e. all the other telephone numbers are empty, in case of an alarm it will be called also if the call diversion
function is disabled.
The SMS message text is preset by default and can not te customized by the user. It is only possible to
enable or disable the SMS message sending.
2.2.2 VOICE MESSAGES RECORDING
Alarm messages are composed by two parts: the basic message, the same for all the alarm messages, and
the event message, associated to the input that detected an alarm condition.
The basic message may last up to 15 seconds and must contain information as place and address where
the alarm occurred. For example, a proper basic message might be: “Paolo Verdi’s apartment, via Roma
15 Milano”.
Every event message may last up to 5 seconds and should indicate the kind of the generated alarm, for
example “Intrusion alarm”, “Boiler block”, “Flooded premises”, etc. It is suggested to avoid generic voice
message, for example “Alarm input 2”.
For messages recording is used the same telephone as for the programming procedure.
To stop recording before the available time is elapsed, press button
.

2.3 ADVANCED PROGRAMMING
The advanced programming concerns the con
fi
guration of all the other dialer parameters. These con
fi
gurations
are strictly related to the system structure, to its wiring, to telephone networks characteristics and to desired
functions, so it is not suggested the
fi
nal user access to the advanced programming procedure. Only the
installer should perform this programming procedure.
2.3.1 INPUTS AND OUTPUT

Warning
: if the output is con
fi
gured as Failure, the output remote activations are automatically disabled
with DTMF commands.
2.3.2 TELEPHONE PARAMETERS
It is possible to con
fi
gure the following functions related to telephone calls:
Dial tone check
: if enabled, the dialer checks the dial tone after seizing the line. If the dial tone is detected,
the device starts dialling the number, otherwise (no dial tone), the front LED starts blinking red.
Warning
:
if the dialer is not directly connected to the telephone line (PABX) this function must be disabled!
Answer check
: if enabled, the telephone dialer, after calling the number, checks the presence of the
ring back tone (the called telephone is ringing) and wait until it is ended before playing the alarm voice
message. If the signal continues for more than 45 seconds, the dialer hangs up. If the answer check is
not enabled, or if no ring back tone is detected, the alarm voice message is played 3 seconds after the
telephone number has been dialled.
Rings for incoming call
: it enables or disables the answer to incoming calls. The value 0 disables the
answer, the other values (1, 3, 5, 7) indicate the number of rings after which the telephone dialer answers
the incoming call.
