2.5 Event Mode
(Impact Recording)
● When the accelerometer (G sensor) detects an unusual impact, video captures are saved in a
separate folder labeled “EVENT” in the MicroSD Card root directory.
● A chime will accompany files being saved under the Event Recording mode.
● When Event Recording mode begins, video captures in progress under Constant Recording
mode will end.
● Event recording video capture files are saved in the following format:
Each Event video capture file will be 12-13 seconds long (10 seconds before impact to 2-3 seconds after impact).
2.6 Parking Mode
(Auto-park Recording)
● If there are no changes to the G sensor for approximately 10 minutes, Constant Recording
mode switches to Parking Recording mode. Video captures in Parking Recording mode are saved
to a folder labeled “PARKING” in the MicroSD Card directory.
● Parking Recording mode video capture files are saved in the following format:
Video files in this mode are recorded and playable in 25-second interval (Recording time may be shortened
when the Event Recording mode overrides).
