Now Playing
Appearing on the right-hand side of the
Title Bar
, this displays the source that is currently being used as
well as provides associated artwork and metadata information to the keypad. When playing music, the
metadata changes every 5 seconds rotating between song, artist, and album (as seen below).
If an activity is being performed (such as DVD or Cable) in the selected room the
Now Playing
section
displays the activity. For example,
Now Playing Cable
looks as such:
Core Buttons
These keys are always present at the bottom of the screen regardless of what room or module currently
selected. Known as the core buttons, they serve as main navigation keys of the system. They allow the user
to control volume, return to the main screen, and access to the
Shortcut Pop-Up window
.
Volume
When selected the keypad displays a Volume slider that contains “-” and “+” keys. The “-” key turns the
volume down and when held ramps the volume down. The “+” key increases the volume and when help
ramps the volume higher. These audio controls affect the volume for the room which the TKP-5500 is
currently controlling.
