Locating the MAC Address

The network MAC Address is a unique number that identifies a device on a network. By listing the MAC

address during programming, URC network devices can use DHCP and do not require Static IP Addresses. The

MAC address of the TKP-2000 can be discovered over the network through programming, and it can be found

on a label behind the cover plate.

Installing the TKP-2000

Connect the Ethernet wire to the RJ-45 port on the back of the TKP-2000. Feed the wire into the box or

wall until the touchscreen is flush with the wall. Using the included 6/32 mounting screws in the mount-

ing holes, attach the touchscreen to the box making sure that it is level. If the button caps are being

changed, unscrew the button cap bracket and remove it. Place the needed button caps over the buttons

and replace the bracket using the same screws. Finally, snap cover plate over the top of the TKP-2000.
